The SNAGMAG™ is designed to be worn in your front, supportside pocket. If you shoot with your right hand, the SNAGMAG™ goes in your left front pocket. It should be placed vertically against the outside seam with the bullets facing forward.
When drawing, your index finger should go into the pocket along the front of the magazine. Your thumb should also be placed onto the magazine.
Firmly apply rearward pressure with your index finger as the magazine is drawn upward allowing the SNAGMAG™ to “snag” the back corner of the pocket, keeping the holster in place while the magazine is pulled free.
Great product! I have used Snagmag daily for awhile now and I love everything about it. The magazine fits perfectly and the draw is smooth. It does take some practice to get the muscle memory down, but it is well worth it. I own the double stack 9/40 and 1911 models. Both are great!

United StatesSo originally bought this for use with my Mk 25/ P229 mags in 05/22/2022. In December 2022 I picked up a P365 X Macro Comp and continued to use this SnagMag. Everyday I carried my CCW with me, I had it with. Last night, 12/29/2025, my SnagMag broke below the clip point. I am not disappointed at all. It had a good run and considering it was not the proper SnagMag for the X Macro it is more proof that this a quality product. Will be buying another one.
USHow and where to carry a spare magazine was a real problem for me. I had tried using a magazine holder which connected to my belt on my offside but due to my build, it would dig into my waist and was uncomfortable. So for years, I just carried the spare mag loose in my front pocket. This worked but was not completely ideal. When I saw the SnagMag, I knew this might be the answer to a very real problem. I have been carrying it for a few weeks now and can tell you it works as advertised. It keeps the spare magazine handy and looks just like a clip on pocket knife to anyone looking. The design works. You simply grab the top of magazine, pull up and outward and out comes the magazine, but the SnagMag stays put. Bravo. It is my new preferred way to carry my spare magazine. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple way to carry a spare mag.
USThis is not my first Snagmag. Frankly I have been using them for years. Due to a new firearm I needed the right size snagmag. Received it in a timely fashion, and put it "to work" the next day.
